This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use the Service, and explains your privacy rights and how the law may protect you.
We use your Personal Data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Interpretation
Words with initial capital letters have meanings defined under the following conditions. The definitions shall have the same meaning whether they appear in singular or plural.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- Account means a unique account created for you to access our Service or parts of our Service.
- Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a party, where “control” means ownership of 50% or more of voting shares or equivalent controlling interest.

- Country refers to: Colombia.

- Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Company (for example, hosting providers, payment processors, and email service providers).
- Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
- Website refers to Tiked, accessible from https://tiked.co/.
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service.

Types of Data Collected
Personal Data
While using our Service, we may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. This may include:
- Email address
- First name and last name
- Phone number
- Government-issued identification number (e.g., DNI) (for account creation and/or transactions)
- Bank account and payout information (for event organizers) (such as bank name, account type/number, account holder identification and related details, where applicable)
Note: We do not collect full payment card details. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (see “Payments” below).
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. Usage Data may include IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, time/date of visit, time spent, device identifiers and diagnostic data.
If you access the Service by or through a mobile device browser, we may also collect technical information such as device type, OS, and mobile browser type.
Tracking Technologies and Cookies
We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service and store certain information.
Technologies we use may include:
- Cookies or Browser Cookies (session or persistent)
- Web Beacons (used mainly to understand page usage and email open events, where applicable)
Cookies can be Session Cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or Persistent Cookies (remain until deleted or expired).
We generally use:
- Necessary / Essential Cookies to enable core website functions and authentication.
- Functionality Cookies to remember preferences (where applicable).
You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some features of the Service may not work properly.
Use of Your Personal Data
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Service, including monitoring usage and system performance.
- To manage your Account, including registration and authentication.
- To perform a contract, including processing ticket purchases, generating tickets (e.g., QR codes and downloadable documents), verifying purchase status, enabling ticket transfer (where available), and validating entry (check-in).
- To contact you, primarily by email (for account verification, security, purchase confirmations, support responses, and service-related notices).
- To manage your requests, such as customer support inquiries.
- For security and fraud prevention, including detecting suspicious activity, misuse of tickets/QR codes, or payment abuse.
- For business transfers, such as a merger or acquisition, where Personal Data may be transferred as part of the transaction.
- For other purposes, such as improving the Service and user experience, and internal analytics of service performance.
We do not send SMS messages as a standard practice based on current Service operation.
Payments
Payments for tickets are processed by a third-party payment processor (Wompi). We do not store full payment card details. The payment processor may collect information necessary to process payments and prevent fraud under its own privacy policy.
Google Places / Location Data (Event Location)
Our Service may use Google Places / Google Maps Platform to help Organizers select and provide event location details (such as address and coordinates). This is primarily used to display the event location and help users find event venues.
We do not use Google Places to track users’ real-time location.

Retention of Your Personal Data
We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including maintaining your account, processing purchases and supporting ticket access, resolving disputes, complying with legal obligations (e.g., accounting/tax), and security/fraud prevention.
Retention periods may vary depending on the data type and legal requirements. Where appropriate, we may delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.
Backups: copies of data may remain in secure backups for a limited time consistent with our backup policies and are restored only when necessary (e.g., disaster recovery or legal compliance).
Transfer of Your Personal Data (International Transfers)
Your Personal Data may be processed and stored in locations where our Service Providers operate. Our infrastructure uses cloud services and may involve processing outside Colombia. In particular, our hosting and infrastructure may be located in the United States (AWS us-east-1).
We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place when transferring information internationally.
Delete Your Personal Data
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your Personal Data by contacting us. Where technically feasible, you may also update certain account information through your account settings.
Please note we may need to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention and dispute resolution.
Disclosure of Your Personal Data
Business Transactions
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Law Enforcement
We may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
Other Legal Requirements
We may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
- comply with a legal obligation,
- protect and defend Company rights or property,
- prevent or investigate wrongdoing in connection with the Service,
- protect the personal safety of users or the public,

Security of Your Personal Data
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your Personal Data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us Personal Data, please contact us so we can take steps to delete it.

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites (including payment provider pages). We have no control over and assume no responsibility for third-party content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of each site you visit.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
